Synosis In the northwest desert where countless prosperous dynasties have flourish and fall, there is rumor of a treasure of unbelievable riches buried among it. A group of mysterious guardian have been guarding the map to the location of the treasure until a fierce rivalry erupted. A notorious international crime group, The Company hunted down the map keeper and before they managed to secure the map, the keeper passed the map to a young chivalrous man Ciao Fei (Jay Chou).
Ciao Fei was forced to give up the map to save the live of his mentors daughter Lan Ting (Lin Chi Ling),. Teaming up with Hua Ding Bang (a famous archeologist) and Lan Ting they embark on a dangerous journey to recover the map and fight to protect the ancient treasure.
Review To start with, this movie seem to lack of continuity, it was a bit choppy. Everything happen so sudden and end so sudden. This movie also lack of clear message.
Already December 24th, no more news from Jay Chou about any album. I think there is a good chance that he will no doing any album this year.
Currently Jay are busying with filming schedule in film and series like The Green Hornet (2010), The Treasure Hunter (2009), Pandaman (2010) and True Legend(2010) plus new restaurant opening. He is really into acting and directing right now. Looking forward to watch his film soon.
Last month I heard that the album are in writing and already completed, And planing to record it in Los Angles. After rumors and rumors, year are ending still no news of Jay new album. Wah he really a busy-man right now.
Finally the news is confirmed that he estimated to released new album on February 2010. This already break his long reign of 1 year 1 album release.
According to Jay, when he first accepted "The Green Hornet" he was very hesitant, but afterwards he thought "I can delay making the album, but being in a Hollywood movie is very rare, if I don't take part in this movie, then foreigners won't know me."
I am quite a fans of Jay Chou. I know that his whole album is leaked. But I hold my breath and decide to wait for his album out before listening to it.
I read about the album review somewhere over the internet there is a lot of disappointment in the latest album.
Finally on 16th Oct in Malaysia (i pre-order Metal case version from the rock). happily get the Album I hope that the review by other is wrong.
I listen to the whole album to my disappointment only 3 Song that I really love. It was track 11 followed by track 2 and track 4.
